As part of WP1 Capacity Building under EUMEDplus project and recognising the importance
of gender equality and equal opportunities, ASREN commits to integrating efforts for
inclusivity throughout all project activities while implementing specific initiatives for
women’s empowerment within NRENs.
Efforts to be undertaken include Mentoring programme.
ASREN will devise a mentoring programme to provide continuous support and guidance for women professionals. This programme, facilitated through a dedicated mailing list, aims to foster mentorship relationships. The content distributed through this list will include:
Professional development resources
Regularly share articles, webinars, and online courses related to leadership skills, technical advancements, and career growth
Networking opportunities
Highlight networking events, both virtual and in-person, where participants can connect with professionals in their field
Success stories
Share success stories of women who have excelled in their STEM careers and invite female representatives in the region to participate in GÉANT’s annual Women in STEM campaign
